Software Architecture Reader

I managed to get a copy of Software Architecture Reader from Union bookshop and read through some of its chapters. Well very interesting indeed! I fancy the chapter about the software development process intwo completely contrast companies. I did laugh when reading this but after all, it's a serious story about software engineering. I learned a lot from this. To all that haven't got this book, I strongly recommend you to buy it because this small book can help you a lot on the way becoming a software engineer.

First lecture

I've been doing a few software projects both at uni and at work but I've never really cared about "software architecture". This seems to be a new definition to me. I'm more familiar with software design and honestly, I can't figure out the difference between architecture and design. I read on the required reading and found out that CERT is something that I do deal with when doing software projects. There are always external factors that shape the way you design your application.

I also did some research on the web and came across an interesting article from MSDN Microsoft Architecture Overview which can be found here.
This article review the macroscope architecture underlying the the world largest software corporate from organisational to technological.

My first blog...

Well this is my first blog created in attempt to get extra 5 marks in Software Architecture. Hoping that everything will be going well and I will be able to get something useful for my career as a software engineering from this subject.
